What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photographer / Videographer / Droner position at Studio Barn Creative?
Overview
Our digital marketing agency, located in Nexton, is in search of a self-motivated individual to join our Media Team. We think this position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to utilize their photo/video/drone/editing skills experience through hands-on work in various aspects of photography, videography, and post-production.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of photo/video fundamentals and will bring with them a history of experience shooting in the field and with post production, along with a portfolio and samples of their work.
Our agency works with clients in the construction industry only and field work will include a variety of under-construction and recently completed projects (e.g., sitework construction job sites to completed custom homes) with both indoor and outdoor locations. We'd like candidates to have a desire to learn new things and also be willing to step into the brand vibes and standards of our clients.
Duties
- Capture photo, video, and drone footage of client's work / working in the field
- Be prepared for and manage photo and video shoots at various times and locations, including necessary setup and equipment handling care
- Post-production editing using Adobe Lightroom Classic Premiere Pro
- Short and long video production projects (e.g., social media reels to client interviews)
- Collaborate with our team to support marketing objectives for our clients
Experience
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with:
1) Mirrorless cameras (we use Sony A7siii Sony FX3) for photo and video
2) A portfolio to support skills of photo and video editing with Adobe's Lightroom Classic and Premiere Pro
3) Flying a drone to capture a variety of footage (we use a DJI Mavic Pro 3, DJI Mini Pro 4, - and if you can fly a DJI Avata FPV, let's talk; we have one of those, too!)
We'd also like our candidate to have:
- Enthusiasm for learning about the construction industry (we love it here) and applying it to their work
- Be comfortable on active job sites with possible mud, 'weather conditions', clients
- Confidence communicating and asking for assistance when it's needed
- Ability to work well in a team setting and on their own
- The ability to be creative and a willingness to take on new challenges
- FAA Part 107 Drone License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,000.00 per year
