This position is based in San Carlos, CA. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to the area.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic Design & Creative Assistant to join a collaborative and passionate team. You’ll work closely with the team to support various aspects of the design process—no two days will be the same. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual and organizational skills, a fresh design perspective, and the ability to seamlessly blend creativity with both design and operational support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to :
Create 3D renderings and visualizations to support client presentations.
As needed, support with the preparation of detailed design drawings, floor plans, and elevations.
With direction, support the design teams by sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings for projects as needed.
Capture high-quality photos to document the design process, creating engaging content for social media in collaboration with the social media manager.
Shop for accessories, styling items, and materials for clients and designers.
Organizing and supporting installations, ensuring every detail reflects the firm’s aesthetic vision.
Schedule, organize and manage project photoshoots to showcase completed projects.
Organize and maintain the fabric library, ensuring all samples are current and accessible.
Support the design team by preparing for the San Francisco Decorator Showcase and assisting in representing the firm during the event.
Lead and direct Interns as needed.
Stay current on interior design trends and new materials, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of professional residential design experience ideal
Proficiency in rendering using SketchUp and other relevant tools
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Studio, Adobe Suite, Dropbox, Google Workspace a plus
Knowledge of furniture, fabrics, and finishes preferred
Experience with San Francisco Design Center and local vendors a plus
Deadline-driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a strong attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Creative eye and in tune with the latest social media trends
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required
WHAT WE OFFER
Full time, Monday - Thursday 9 : 00 am - 5 : 45 pm and Friday 9 : 00 am - 2 : 00 pm
Vacation (40 hours), holidays week between Christmas and New Years
