Studio C, parent company of Celebration Cinema, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team at Celebration Cinema! This entry level position will allow the candidate to learn all facets of facilities management at Celebration Cinema and has potential to become a Facilities Maintenance Manager at a specific location. This position reports to, and will learn from, our Circuit Facilities Manager and requires working at all 11 of our locations. As a Maintenance Tech you will learn how to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a safe and efficient manner along with planning, organizing, and managing preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment, fixtures, furnishings and structures of the facility and grounds. Typical hours are 6am – 3pm Monday through Friday with an occasional emergency evening and/or weekend.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aid in the proper working condition, care, and appearance of exterior and interior of building, equipment, landscaping, snow removal, surrounding areas, and other assets
- Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concession equipment, seating, and all building components
- Learn to conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and help to address them proactively.
- Collaborate and communicate well with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests and vendors regarding building/maintenance related matters.
QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Maintenance experience preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to fix things (small motor, drywall, simple faucet, toilets, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to learn maintenance skills from others.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and heating/cooling
- Ability to perform tasks with tools, ladders, and lifts in a safe and effective manner
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- This is a physically demanding role; requires walking, climbing stairs, lifting 50 pounds or more, operating equipment
- Willing to travel to various work sites within Michigan
- Must be a self-starter with high level of initiative and willingness to learn
