Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. You must have at a minimum 12 college units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. The ideal candidate will be available M-F during business hours. You should have a genuine love for working with babies (we are an Infant Center, so all of our kids are under 24 months). This role is essential in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work with a team of 10 teachers under the direct supervision of the center's director.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including assistance with daily routines such as meals, naps, diaper change and hygiene.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote their development in key areas such as language, motor skills, and social interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices.
