About This Opportunity : Job Location : Studio G HQ & Distribution Center-Holland, MI This is an On-Site Position (Not Remote) Department / Team : Product Solutions Team Position : Closet / Storage Specialist (FULL TIME; 40 Hours per week / 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm; Monday-Friday) Studio G is looking for a Closet Designer in our custom closets and storage division. We are seeking a team player who will also work alongside our other core competencies : custom and specialty glass, showers, mirrors, interior hardware. A b ackground in interior design, space planning, and / or kitchen and bath design is preferred. Ideal candidates should be : Willing to collaborate within a team, both internally with other Studio G Product Specialists and externally with building trades, architects and designers as required. Meticulous and client focused on delivering a great experience-every time. Able to identify Client needs and problem solve. Comfortable communicating design intent with strong presentation skills. Familiar with and able to read measuring tools such as tape measures and lasers Proficient in MS office with Design / 3D Software experience You Will Be Doing A Lot Of This : Developing design solutions for custom closets, garages, storage areas, and pantries using existing software systems for drawing and specifications Supporting sales efforts in achieving expansion of existing custom builder, designer, and architecture relationships using melamine, wire, and hardware products Analyzing floorplans and architectural drawings to creatively design product solutions that meet the needs of the Client, balancing cost, and aesthetics. Correctly specifying supplies of closet, pantry, and hardware materials Creating estimates and email communications between internal and external contacts Managing multiple projects / Clients at one time Making recommendations for cohesive designs that appeal to builders and home buyers utilizing the full scope of Studio G’s capabilities So, You Should Have This : Interior Design Background; 2 years industry or related experience Comfort using technology and office equipment (AutoCAD and MS Office) Great verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Sharp decision-making skills and be receptive to learning Ability to manage time and tasks in an orderly manner Detail-oriented mindset with a high sense of urgency Strong organizational skills Ability to understand Architectural documents, plans and specifications General Listing of Benefits Studio G offers a wide range of benefits to eligible employees, including but not limited to : Medical Insurance (health, dental, vision, prescription drug) Disability Insurance Life Insurance Retirement Savings Plan Flexible Spending Accounts Health Savings Accounts Chiropractic Care Pay will be commensurate with experience and skill set.
