Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a CAD Drafter in San Diego, CA, to produce complete sets of construction documents and custom furniture production drawings. Modern high-end residential construction, remodels, curated furnishing packages, & custom innovative commercial projects.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree completed in Interior Design or Architecture
· 5 years experience in an interior design or architecture firm
· Proficient in AutoCAD
· Proficient in Construction Document Production
· Proficient in Sketch Up and/or Revit.
Skills
· Ability to Draft in AutoCAD
· AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch-Up
· Knowledge of Building Codes and Standards
· Ability to implement FF&E into plans
· Ability to produce detailed custom furnishings shop drawings for production
· Must be a Self-Starter
· Ability to adapt to change quickly
· Ability to effectively meet deadlines
· Extremely detail oriented, strong organizational skills
· Capable of project documents management and following up on tasks
· Consistent level of follow-through
· Outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, exceptional listening skills, a sense of urgency, and a high degree of professionalism, honesty, and integrity required.
· Must be able to perform successfully under pressure and in a fast speed, deadline-driven environment
· Must be open to feedback and learning experiences
