Studio 3 has offices in Los Angeles, Austin and Tampa Bay. The ideal candidate would be able to work out of our Austin office, but we are open to those who could work in our LA or Tampa Bay office.
Purpose :
The Vice President of Digital Ads provides strategic leadership for the digital advertising department, ensuring its growth, operational excellence, and alignment with overall company goals. This role focuses on high-level vision, personnel development, resource optimization, and driving sales and residual growth for the department.
Responsibilities :
Department Leadership & Vision :
- Develop and set the strategic vision for the digital ads department.
- Define long-term goals and drive innovation to position the team as an industry leader.
- Ensure strategies align with overarching company growth initiatives.
Sales & Department Growth :
Drive the sales strategy to grow the department’s residual revenue and profitability.Collaborate with Sales teams to identify and secure opportunities for new digital ad business.Collaborate with DMMs to identify and secure opportunities for new digital ad business and upsells of existing clientele.Set revenue growth targets and ensure consistent progress toward achieving them.Support client upsell opportunities by showcasing the value of digital ad offerings.Personnel Management :
Lead hiring, talent retention, and team structure decisions for the entire department.Mentor senior team members, including Directors, and establish clear growth paths.Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and foster a culture of excellence.Resource & Budget Deployment :
Oversee and optimize the allocation of budgets, tools, and resources for maximum ROI.Identify opportunities for investment in technology, platforms, and partnerships.Ensure profitability of the department through efficient resource utilization.High-Level Client Oversight :
Monitor the success of digital advertising campaigns across all clients.Troubleshoot escalations for VIP accounts or major issues, ensuring client satisfaction.Provide executive-level updates to key clients as needed.Cross-Departmental Alignment :
Collaborate with Sales, Creative, Analytics, and other teams to integrate digital ads into larger strategies.Partner with company leadership to ensure digital ads support overall revenue goals.Thought Leadership & Growth :
Drive industry leadership by identifying trends and experimenting with new ad platforms and technologies.Represent the company at industry events and thought leadership opportunities.Build processes that continually enhance campaign efficiency and performance.Expectations :
