What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Photographer position at Studio One OK?
We are looking for a Youth Sports Studio Photographer to join our expanding team.
Our small business is located in Newcastle, OK. We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever. And we really believe that we are changing the world one portrait at a time (you will see what we mean when you check out our website!)

What’s it like to work with us?
We are a team of fun, hard-working, maybe just a little crazy individuals. No two days are the same. You’re probably wondering about the job requirements…
1. You need to LOVE talking to people. Someone who instantly connects with people with a warm, inviting personality.
2. You need to be the type person who gets joy out of getting things done.
3. You will be behind the camera. A lot. So, if taking portraits, interacting with parents, and giving families a great experience are right in your wheelhouse, you’ll be in the right place.
4. You will be taking portraits. A lot. (I think I said that already..) So, you need to enjoy talking to parents of kids! Our families will have these portraits for the rest of their lives. Oh…and be able to tackle problems when they come up with the enthusiasm of a Chief Happiness Officer.
5. You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people. You know, you need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good.
6. You need to nail down the details. You don’t need to race through work and get things done half-way (we figured that one out ourselves). We need you to slow things down and get them done right.
7. We want you to be meticulous in your work. If you are shy or loud (we are pretty much a mix of personality types as it is) that is totally cool. We are looking for a good person who gets things done
8. Not required but hopefully you love sports!
In short, your job is to help the studio give remarkable experiences to the wonderful families that walk through our door. And to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn’t fun?!?). While our office and the job is fun, fresh and exciting, we do expect professionalism and punctuality.
Required to be considered:
You must email a portfolio. Must include portraits of individuals - no landscape / architecture.
Email to studio @ studiooneok . com
We expect intelligence, energy, and a get it done attitude.
Let’s talk about the good stuff:
1. The work is fun, fresh and dynamic. You will be working directly on bringing dreams into reality by photographing high school seniors.
2. We aren’t big on stress. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right the first go around.

Show me the money!
If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it...we prefer getting paid as well) this is what we offer: This is a part time, WEEKEND ONLY job for a Youth Sports Studio Photographer. The pay is a whopping $18 an hour (based on experience) and the hours will generally be 8-15 hours a week. You must come into our Newcastle office so we can see your sweet face for this job (sorry, this is not a virtual job). The hours are pretty cool. No mornings, unless you’re helping deck the halls with boughs of holly or something like that. For the right person, the job could turn into a full time opportunity pretty quickly.
When can you start?
We are looking to bring our new colleague on board ASAP, but we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit.
We can’t wait to meet you!!!
