Door Hardware Field Technician

Job Summary
Studio41 is seeking a door hardware service technician to join our team, where your skills will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to interior/ exterior door hardware installation and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of technical schematics and blueprints, as well as hands-on experience with power tools and installation techniques. This position requires you to work in the office and jobsite walkthroughs.

Essential Functions

• Conduct Site Surveys/Inspections for Sales Team.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
• Execute precise measurements and finishes
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively
• Attention to detail is a must
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct service calls, identify customer problems or needs and recommend solutions accordingly.
• Know products and services and how they can benefit individual customers.
• Provide technical and/or warranty support
• Maintain schedule of all site surveys and field work in Salesforce
• Conduct pre-install meetings and confirm scheduled service work with customers prior to service date.
• Perform installation and/or service of door hardware, including low voltage electrical hardware.
• Retain core customers by providing excellent customer service.
• Participate in continuous product training.
• Complete forms and reporting in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers verbally and in writing.

Job Qualifications

• Preferred Experience: 3 years’ minimum experience in door & hardware industry.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience with door and hardware installation, as well as low voltage electrical hardware.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
