Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and construction, and a proven track record in sales, particularly within the home building industry. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with custom home builders, architects, and interior designers to drive sales and promote our comprehensive design and build services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients, including custom home builders, architects, and interior designers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct sales presentations to showcase our design and build services.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are executed to the highest standards.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts to clients.
- Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the interior design or custom home building industry.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
