As a Senior Designer, Web & Experience at Study.com, you will drive the design of experiences that elevate awareness and boost conversions across a diverse range of customer segments, including students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and lifelong learners. Study.com is a trusted leader in online education, offering a vast library of video lessons, study tools, and course materials tailored to different educational goals and needs.
This role focuses on top-of-the-funnel growth, where you’ll use your expertise in designing high-performing landing pages, SEO-optimized experiences, and intuitive sign-up and registration flows. By understanding the unique motivations and pain points of each audience, you will create data-driven, user-centered designs that ensure each segment discovers Study.com’s value effortlessly and converts into engaged users.
You will play a critical role in shaping how users find and interact with our platform. Whether designing SEO-optimized landing pages that attract organic traffic, streamlining registration flows to minimize friction, or crafting personalized onboarding experiences, your work will have a direct impact on Study.com’s mission to make education accessible for everyone.
This role is based in our Mountain View, CA office and is required to be on-site on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What You’ll Do
- Design and implement user-centered experiences that increase engagement, conversion and retention at critical entry points.
- Partner with marketing and content teams to ensure designs are optimized for search engines, incorporating best practices for metadata, content hierarchies, and accessibility.
- Craft compelling, high-performing acquisition touchpoints, such as landing pages, sign up and check out flows, tailored to drive awareness and conversion for distinct customer segments.
- Design and run A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses, improve user flows, and refine features based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketing experts to align design solutions with acquisition goals and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Extend and refine the design system to support scalable, consistent, and efficient design practices as the product and user base grow.
- Conduct usability studies and customer interviews to uncover insights, validate concepts, and identify opportunities to enhance acquisition-focused touchpoints.
- 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on growth or acquisition.
- A strong ability to connect design decisions to growth metrics, with a focus on increasing traffic, sign-ups, and customer acquisition.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to align with stakeholders across functions and present work to senior leadership.
- Proficiency in A/B testing platforms, data reporting tools, and AI design tools throughout your design process, including AI image generation, design generation and code generation tools.
- Experience designing for SEO optimization, including familiarity with metadata, accessibility, content hierarchies, and responsive web design principles.
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts and inform iterative improvements.
- Demonstrated success in improving conversion rates, driving sign-ups, and acquiring users for subscription-based products.

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
