Heirloom Restaurant & Lounge is currently seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to provide genuine hospitality and the highest quality of service to our guests. The ideal candidate will effectively assist food and beverage service and overall logistics of restaurant’s daily operations by way of set-up, clear communication and teamwork. Responsibilities
- Ensure proper uniform of staff at all times
- Provide assistance to all restaurant guests
- Maintain all restaurant equipment and ensure compliance to all standards
- Perform work according to hotel policies and procedures
- Supervise all dining room activities
- Assist with bar operations to include managing stock and serving guests
- Coordinate assignments to maintain optimal level of customer satisfaction
- Analyze all customer requirements and provide efficient response
- Collaborate with manager to review all employee performance
- Monitor all guest requests efficiently to achieve all customer objectives
- Maintain knowledge on all liquor regulations
- Manage all storage supplies
- Evaluate all daily specials
- Oversee and restock all supplies at end of shift and perform regular inspections on all equipment and recommend required repairs
- Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: 2 years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.
- Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English required. A second language is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, including follow-up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments.
- Ability to grasp, lift and or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods indoors with a thematically climate-controlled workstation.
