At Stukent we refer to our Account Executive team as Course Consultants. A Course Consultant is driven by Stukent’s mission and equips educators with the best materials possible for their classes. The most successful Course Consultants are goal-oriented and are motivated to accomplish revenue-based goals for the company. Our Course Consultants are charged with being the “CEO” of their region. To do this well, they need to communicate and collaborate well with their revenue team, which includes members of the Sales Support and Customer Success Team.
This role is for a humble, hard-working, self-starter, with excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales. This person wants to constantly improve the customer experience, is obsessed with learning and sharing learnings, is persistent and perceptive, collaborative and kind, detail-oriented and diligent, strategic and has a strong work ethic, and is someone who enjoys the value of having fun along the way!
Note: This is an on-site role. There is one opening, looking for candidates in either the Idaho Falls, ID area or Lexington, KY area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Hit goals in demos performed, deals closed, and revenue generated for the company on quarterly and yearly basis
- Effectively demo the Stukent CTE product (which includes both platform and content)
- Perform effective discovery to identify the needs of the educators
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively overcome educators’ concerns and answer questions
- Keep educators interested by connecting via phone calls and sending emails that can benefit them in their decision
- Drive revenue for the company by helping the educator progress along the sales cycle, including detailed follow up in the CRM.
- Ability to “read the room” to determine the best solution for teachers
- Create price quotes and work through various budget constraint conversations
- Willingness to book your own sales appointments
- Using and updating a CRM to manage your assigned territory
- Attend educational conferences, help set up the booth, pitch the product to attendees, and give presentations/workshops.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong computer and technical literacy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with small/medium-sized companies
- Proven track record of success in sales
- Great organizational skills
- Professional attitude and language
- Strong time management skills
- Self-motivated
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
