What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Stumpy's Lakeside Grill?
“Stumpy's Lakeside Grill” is a self-serve, fast paced restaurant and marina located on Lake Granbury in Granbury TX. Our facility features a restaurant, bar, bakery, boutique, ship store, kayak sales, gas station, boat rental service, and boat slip leasing. We offer seasonal (full time, and part time) positions in almost every area of service with opportunity for advancement.
We are open from 11 am to 9 pm Tuesday – Saturday, 8pm Sunday, and closed most major holidays.
Responsibilities
· Clean dining area
o sweep
o Clear dirty tables. Food trays, dishes, trash, cups
o Wipe and clean tables and chairs
· Maintain dining area.
o Sweep/mop floors (use of chemicals may be required)
o Wipe and clean counter tops, windows, doors, waste bins, hand rails, and other dirty surfaces
o Refill ice in soda fountains
o Restock dispensers (forks, spoons, knives, napkins, straws, lids, ketchup, mustard, etc.)
· Open/Close restaurant
o Sweep dining room and patio floor
o Mop floors in dining area every night
o Place and remove table set up’s
§ Put out and stock napkins, salt and pepper
o Set up dining room
· Togo orders
o Assist customers picking up togo orders
o Check orders, make sure they are correct and include anything extra not provided by the kitchen
o Able to read receipts and ensure customers receive the correct order
Requirements
· TX food handlers certification
· TABC (not required, but is recommended)
· Must be presentable, clean, professional, and personable (you are the face people see so you are expected to be friendly)
