What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA/Homemaker position at Sturdycare Health Services?
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
**Duties:**
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs - Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience in dementia care and hospice care
- Knowledge of catheter care and tube feeding
- Ability to administer medications accurately
- Familiarity with medical terminology and systems
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs
- Experience in assisted living facilities is a plus
- Strong skills in meal preparation
