- Job Duties/Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with both international and US teams to prepare, review, and deliver the monthly payroll for approximately 200 employees across five countries.
- Administer international employee packages, including onboarding, offboarding, and enrolling new hires in various benefits programs. Assist employees with their inquiries.
- Develop strong controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, with a focus on employee satisfaction.
- Address urgent payroll requests escalated by senior leadership, which may include off-cycle payments, adjustments, and other critical transactions.
- Collaborate with the Finance team for monthly reporting and assist the HR team during payroll audits.
- Support system implementations through thorough analysis and testing.
- Process quarter-end and year-end pay and tax adjustments, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.
- Manage the payroll calendar and enforce deadlines, ensuring that all is correctly entered into the payroll system and all processes are completed on time.
- Manage Employee Handbook and work with legal to update it by region.
- Implement country-specific regulations (e.g., salary, wage, tax, and contribution updates) and ensure HR software aligns with these changes.
- Analyze, audit, reconcile, and resolve payroll and timekeeping processing and employee payroll issues to ensure compliance with company policy.
- Qualifications**
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Rippling, Deel, or similar similar system experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and state/country taxation rules.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage numerous concurrent projects and tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to workload management.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
