What are the responsibilities and job description for the CEI Inspector position at STV Group?
We are seeking an experienced CEI Inspector (Roadway / Bridge) to join our CEI Team and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
- Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
- Making and checking engineering computations
- Inspecting construction work
- Conducting field tests
- Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
Qualifications / Certifications:
Qualifications/certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
Compensation Range:
$47,479.00 - $63,305.00
