STV is looking for a Construction Manager to lead the execution of large-scale transit and rail infrastructure projects in Chicago. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all aspects of transit/rail construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
- Oversee project teams, including field engineers, safety managers, and project control staff.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure contractor performance, enforcing quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead risk management and problem-solving, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
- Review and approve change orders, RFIs, technical submittals, and budget adjustments.
- Monitor and manage project controls, including scheduling, estimating, and cost management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Construction Management for transit/rail projects.
- CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or PMP certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling (Primavera P6), estimating, and contract administration.
- Proven experience leading teams and coordinating with diverse project stakeholders.
- Ability to identify risks and implement proactive solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Compensation Range:
$125,724.10 - $167,632.13
