Civil Roadway/Transit Task Lead and Deputy Project Manager

STV is experiencing tremendous growth in our Transportation Team and we are seeking experienced Civil Roadway/Transit Task Leads and Deputy Project Managers. If you are seeking a challenging, rewarding professional career, the time is right to join STV in our Phoenix, AZ Office.

Key responsibilities will include design and review of all phases of roadway/stormwater/water & wastewater utilities/pedestrian/transit facilities development for our various projects. The preferred candidate should have experience in the following categories of design:

• Roadway Geometrics.
• Roadway modeling and cross section development.
• Grading and drainage.
• Erosion and sediment control.
• Storm water management.
• Traffic control, traffic studies and signalization.
• Signing and pavement marking.
• Utility design coordination.
• Preparation of plans specifications and estimate packages and schematic design documents.
• Arizona, Texas and/or other mountain states (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, etc.) DOT experience a plus.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• PE License required.
• 8 years of experience desired.
• Experience with the following software packages are a plus - MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), InRoads/Geopak, and/or Microsoft Office. AutoCAD a plus.
• Active participation in professional society activities encouraged.
