What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil/Roadway Engineering Specialist position at STV?
STV has an opening in our Columbia, SC office for a Civil / Roadway Engineering Specialist in our Transportation division. As a Roadway Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design Roadways and Highways for the communities we serve. The ability to perform independent design, documentation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, and reports for road / highway projects including but not limited to design projects for public agencies.
You will be responsible for :
- Performing Roadway Design using OpenRoads, Geopak or InRoads and familiar with the local, state and national roadway design standards
- Developing design plans including geometry, alignments, and details.
- Coordinating with design team and other disciplines on design and deliverables.
- Assisting in development of cost estimates, specifications, and reports.
- Interact and partner with client management teams and a team of multidisciplinary engineers
