What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Technician position at STV?
STV has an immediate need for an Office Technician in the Asheville, NC area to support NCDOT Resident Engineers and CEI technicians and engineers.
Job Responsibilities :
Support NCDOT construction and CEI contracts providing administrative and technical support tasks for highway and bridge construction projects. More specifically :
Manage various office and administrative tasks within NCDOT construction office
Assist with administration of construction projects
Review contractor certified payroll records
Maintain documentation for wage rate interviews
Assist with construction project closeout, documentation, and reporting
Prepare various documents and reports as directed
Monitor inspector certifications expirations and register them for classes
Compile construction contract records
Organize and maintain various construction files
Perform data entry into HiCams, ensuring compliance with contract documents
Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes as directed
Specific Requirements :
Min of 3 years of related experience
Associates degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study (education requirement may be waived with additional years of experience)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Proficiency with HiCams software
Compensation Range :
47,102.00 - $62,803.00
