STV currently has openings for a Sr. Structural Engineer in the Transportation group in New York
We are seeking a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer who is an expert in the field, who uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues. This individual will be responsible to perform design of new bridges and rehabilitation of bridges, quality assurance, mentor entry level staff. The work will include highway bridges, railroad bridges, and transportation facilities structures in our New York City office.
Primary responsibilities will include :
- Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, including rehabilitation and seismic retrofit design, and transportation facilities.
- Participating on Design Build Projects and Pursuits
- Perform Quality Assurance on Transportation Projects
- Contract Document production, including drawings and specifications.
- Bridge load ratings using LRFR and LFD
- Review of construction phase submittals
