What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site/Civil Engineering Specialist position at STV?
STV is looking for a Full-Time Civil Site Development Engineering Specialist for our Louisville, KY office.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Prepare project plans, specifications, bid documents and work with the Site Development Group
Perform civil design calculations (i.e., grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design, etc.), sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment!
Assist in developing client capture plans and pursuit win plans, proposals, etc.
Develop and enhance client relationships, serve as the primary company contact, and deliver quality projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client
Ensure project conformance to plans, client needs and budget
Coordinate project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians
Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and ensure conformance
Research code issues and work with City, State, and County officials
Research design options and document findings for Project Engineers and / or Project Managers
Attend “kick-off” and design review meetings and interact with clients
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
0 years of experience in Civil Site development or construction management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic MS Office Suite software required
Proficiency in oral and written communications
Compensation Range :
50,076.12 - $66,768.17
