Summary
Responsible for delegating instructions to the laborers of their crew per instruction from the Supervisor/Company Rep.
Responsibilities
- The crew pusher must delegate and instruct workers to perform the labor function needed.
- Supervises a crew and prioritizes work
- Fill out day tickets and JSAs
- Fulfills all regular construction duties.
- Leads employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
- Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
- Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.
- Attends safety meetings and training as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge: A basic understanding of the operations of production equipment. Basic knowledge of completing a Job Safety Analysis. Tools, Equipment and Devices used on the job.
Skills: Operates hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, hoes, rakes, shovels, etc. Operates power tools such as electric drills, power mills, small gas engine equipment, electric saws, and pneumatic tools.
Abilities: Lead other to accomplish a common goal.
Working Conditions
Primarily: Outdoors
Physical Demands
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.
Environmental Conditions
Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather condition, such as cold, wind and possible extreme heat.
Academic & Trades Qualifications
High School diploma or GED with one-five years' experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
