Key Holder/Sales Associate (Style Encore Terre Haute)

Style Encore is a resale store focusing on women and men (age mid 20-50) who are style and value conscious and interested in sustainability.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing the daily operations of the retail store
- Manage and supervise a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support
- Ensure excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving complaints, and addressing any issues that arise
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store manager to ensure proper stock levels are maintained

-Market with social media, social selling, working with online store, and creating videos, reels, lives, etc to draw recognition and customers to buy and sell with us.

- Handle cash transactions and perform opening/closing procedures as needed (Shift Leader)
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of shift management, including scheduling and employee supervision
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette
- Basic budgeting skills, with the ability to manage expenses and track sales performance
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it can help in serving a diverse customer base
- Familiarity with wireless sales is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and performing basic calculations

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 38 per week
