What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant position at StylEyes?
StylEyes, a family-owned private optometric office and boutique optical in West Des Moines, is seeking an outgoing, customer service oriented individual to join our team. Primary responsibilities of this position include:
1) Assisting our optometrists with all aspects of patient pre-testing
2) Entering patient information into the electronic medical records
4) Managing correspondence with other medical offices
5) Assisting with patient check- in and check-out procedures
6) Assisting at the front desk and in the optical dispensary when needed
Our office utilizes state-of-the-art technology including visual fields, Optos, retinal photography, OCT, and IPL.
The ideal candidate must be friendly and enthusiastic, detailed oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate computer proficiency, possess the ability to learn new skills, and present a professional attitude and appearance. Prior optometric experience is preferred but not required.
