What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker/Forklift Operator position at Stylistics logistics?
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to transport materials and goods within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Stack and organize products in designated areas
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- This is a physical posiiton working outside loading flatbed trucks with a forklift as well working on the line when no trucks are present/available. Must be able to work outside in the elements as well handle some physical labor
Experience:
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
- Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Experience fabricating or modifying equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts and their capabilities
Skills:
- Proficient in operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stacking and organizing products
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to coordinate with other warehouse personnel
