Job Summary
The Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the leasing operations of a new residential high- rise property in Seattle. Leasing apartments, developing and implementing leasing strategies, attracting and retaining residents, leading the leasing team, daily and weekly reporting and ensure leasing goals are achieved. This is a leadership role and expectations are that you take the initiative to gain knowledge of area competition, marketing out reach weekly, area leasing trends.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Tenant Relations
· Develop and implement effective leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates.
· Market available properties through various channels, including online listings, social media, and networking.
· Conduct property tours and provide detailed information to prospective tenants.
· Ensure you and other leasing agents are meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly goals.
· Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests to maintain strong tenant relationships.
Team & Property Management
· Supervise and train leasing agents to ensure high performance.
· Provide accountability for meeting the agreed upon goals.
· Monitor market trends and pricing to make recommendations for pricing strategies or other adjustments accordingly.
· Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are in excellent condition.
· Ensure the building exterior and interior amenity and unit tour path is above expectations at all times.
Compliance & Reporting
· Ensure all lease agreements adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant interactions, and financial reports.
· Prepare regular occupancy and leasing reports for senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
· Proven experience in leasing and property management-no less than 2 years in a role with progressive responsibilities or leadership experience.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Ability to exceed a personal closing ratio of no less than 33%.
· Knowledge of local real estate laws and market trends.
· Knowledge of MFTE program is a plus.
· Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or RealPage).
· Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Work Environment & Schedule
· Full-time position with some weekend and evening availability required.
· Office and on-site employment is required.
· May involve occasional local travel for market outreach or market research.
· Elevated professional attire required.
· Ability to excel in a fast paced often changing environment.
· Must have the outlook to find positivity in difficult situations and overcome objections.

Pay: From $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
