We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and effectively promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, customer service, and business development, with the ability to negotiate and upsell effectively. This role is critical to expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential industrial clients through outside sales efforts.
- Conduct territory sales activities to identify new leads and generate business opportunities.
- Perform market research to identify potential customers and growth opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Present and promote our services to prospective customers effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies.
- Track sales activities and report on performance metrics regularly.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall sales team goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proven experience in sales management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful upselling.
- Previous experience in outside sales within industry markets and territory management is a preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability in business development and lead generation strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings to understand customer needs and specifications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary: $40,000 to $60,000 based on experience.
