Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations and participate in discharge planning for patients.
- Provide care for patients in various settings, including critical care, memory care, and occupational health.
- Conduct specimen collection processing and perform phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks.
- Strong critical care skills with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and discharge planning processes.
- Experience in memory care settings is preferred.
