LPN Sub Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting with various medical procedures and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assist in discharge planning for patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in memory care and occupational health initiatives, ensuring that patients receive appropriate support.
• Perform specimen collection processing and phlebotomy as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in critical care settings, including ophthalmology departments when necessary.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient information.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in critical care or memory care environments.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and discharge planning is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
• Experience with specimen collection processing and phlebotomy techniques is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.11 - $31.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
