What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist - Labor Relations position at Sub-Zero Group, Inc.?
Position exists to coordinate and implement human resources policies, programs and systems to support the successful attainment of business objectives. This includes working with managers and shop floor supervisors with key areas of responsibility including staffing, employee relations, labor relations, compensation and benefits administration, employee development, safety and health/wellness and equal opportunity affairs.
- Coordinate between injured employees, supervisors, and Worker's Compensation provider on open claims
- Lead full cycle recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried workforce
- Partner with manufacturing supervision to maximize labor relations for employees
- Administering the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Administer conflict resolution through grievance procedures
- Coach and influence line management on company policy work rules, as well as applicable federal and state regulations to ensure fair and consistent delivery of human resource services
- Serve as a resource to employees related to management, employment, benefit and performance
- Contribute to a cooperative, team environment by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related activities as needed and/or requested
This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended.
