Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting jobs by sanding, filling, and priming
- Mask and tape surfaces not to be painted
- Blend and mix paint to match original colors and finishes
- Applying paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
- Repair and touch-up paint imperfections such as scratches and chips
- Communicate with team and manager to ensure the quality and consistency of work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols
- Participate in all required training and safety meetings
Qualifications:
- 3 years auto body painter experience in a collision repair facility required
- Proven experience in auto-body painting, preferably within a dealership or automotive shop environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all repairs.
- Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable, as it enhances client interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 with valid, and clean driving record
