- Interact with domestic and foreign agents, Customers, and Customs to facilitate international imports and export via ocean and air.
- Process, coordinate & track all shipping requests
- Tracking of all project and operations related shipments from initial deployment through return to SubCom
- Provide field and project management personnel status of all tools & equipment necessary for installation or repair.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure all tools & equipment arrive onsite when required
- Mitigate project & vessel schedule changes regarding shipments to minimize or avoid delays
- Work with logistics and shipping vendors globally to prepare, submit & maintain all required documents related to project logistics. Letters of Credit, Carnets, BOL’s, Commercial invoices, Packing Lists, AWB’s etc
- Track logistics costs on a per project basis.
- Coordinate with Cable Factory to manage all OTS and Terminal shipments
- Manage repair and return shipments globally
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with all aspects of domestic & international logistics coordination, including modes of transport, documentation & customs requirements.
- Familiar with international logistics documentation and terms, Letters of Credit, Carnet, BOL/AWB, Commercial/Pro Forma Invoices
- Familiar with the AES, HTS, INCOTERMS
- Must have strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving skills as well as excellent multi-tasking & communication abilities
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, prefer a college degree
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
