Position Overview  

The Project Coordinator supports projects through coordinating among various departments within the business from project kickoff, throughout implementation, to completion.  This position assists with Marine budgets, schedules on projects, project costing in relation to contract variations and documentation support.  

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Project Coordinator, Implementation with:
  • Working with procurement on structuring and maintaining billing schedules for all marine construction related contracts 
  • Engaging with various sub-contractors and SubCom accounts receivables to obtain invoices as planned and in-line with billing schedules 
  • Provide status on forecasting variances 
  • Assist in generating and maintaining purchase requisitions for the various groups within marine services 
  • Assist in maintaining CV tracking documents for the Senior Project Coordinators on their respective projects for Marine related items 
  • Updating/submittal of high level, bi-weekly vessel summaries to the Marine Services organization 
  • The updating of the Ship Tracking Report, based off the latest vessel operational plans 
  • Taking meeting minutes during internal PC/PM/Marine meetings and external CCM/RWG meetings 
  • CCM presentation support – Power Point slide gathering, collating and formatting.  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Completion of a higher education degree or a technical/vocational program 
• Ability to manage financial budgets 
• Experience with Math & Statistics, Computer Operations 
• Proficient verbal and written communications 
• Basic understanding of contracts and contract management 
• Experience with financial progress reporting 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, in particular Excel, Word and Power Point is preferred. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft project a plus. 
• Ability to work well in group / collaborative settings.
