What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr Wet Chemist position at Sublistrips?
The Jr Chemist is primarily responsible for the mixing and drying of the companies existing novel formulations for the purpose of oral thin film strip manufacturing under the supervision of the chemist.
Additional responsibilities are listed below:
- Conduct R&D projects under the guidance of your supervisor
- Participate in production workflow, focusing on the front end processes of slurry preparation and thin film manufacturing
- Mix and manufacture existing formulas.
- Develop and follow standard operating procedures in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
- Ensure proper and complete documentation of dosage and flavoring formulas, following Good Documentation Practices
- Assemble, commission, operate and maintain lab and production equipment
- Handling and storage of all raw materials and chemicals per the SDS
- Work collaboratively with all team members and other ad-hoc projects
