What are the responsibilities and job description for the ENG.02.P50-Specialist Professional position at Subsea 7?
Plan, produce, and review (as applicable) Subsea 7 specifications and related technical documents covering corrosion mitigation aspects associated with the construction and installation of subsea structures/ pipeline systems,
Review client-generated specifications and related documents regarding Cathodic Protection and provide technical qualifications where required to support project activities.
Provide CP Design Philosophy for tenders and subsequently establish and report project design and associated workscopes.
Review approve contractor/subcontractor/ vendor procedures for Anode Manufacture and installation.
Provide specialist technical support to projects and other disciplines within Subsea7
Sound working knowledge of recognised industry codes and standards) relevant to corrosion and CP Design (e.g., ISO 15589, BS EN 12474, BS EN 12495, NORSOK M503, ISO 12473, ISO 12954, DNV RP B401, DNV RP F103, DNV RP F112, etc.) and providing advice and guidance on interpretation and use where appropriate following Subsea7 business management system.
Provide support to the Principal and be able to communicate clearly to other disciplines.
Attend the site when applicable to ensure that all Subsea 7 requirements are met and that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Mentor junior engineers within the discipline
Actively share knowledge, capture Lessons Learned, and apply Engineering Standards. Participate in risk assessments and mitigation processes.
Be willing to cross-train to support coating activities.
