Summary

Responsibilities
- Administer first aid and medical care to students as needed.
- Monitor student health and maintain accurate health records.
- Provide emergency care in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding student health information.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health issues.
- Assist in the management of chronic health conditions within the school setting.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the state of PA.
- Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
