School Psychologist at Brandywine Wallace Elementary/Shamona Creek Elementary
- Length of Assignment: 3/27/25 – 6/6/25 (last day of school); 7 hours per day
- Daily Pay Rate: $396.20
- Position Information: The School Psychologist assesses the learning, social, and emotional needs of referred students who are experiencing difficulty in school, and assists in the development of interventions to facilitate academic success and positive school functioning.
o This position will be required to complete 10-12 evaluation reports per month
o Attendance at weekly MTSS meetings preferred but not mandatory
* Requirements:
o Certified as a School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania
o Demonstrated knowledge in federal and state special education/gifted regulations
o Knowledge of current Child Abuse Law
o Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with peers, teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside professional contracts

- Length of Assignment: 4/29/25 – 6/6/25 (last day of school); 7 hours per day

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Substitute Teacher Service. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide counseling services to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create safety plans and interventions.
- Assist in crisis intervention efforts when necessary.
- Educate staff and parents on mental health issues affecting students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Strong understanding of psychological testing methods and school psychology practices.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
