Schedule: Work as-needed - per diem
Payrate: $15.00 per hour
Summary
As a Child Nutrition Worker, you will be essential in providing nutritious meals and excellent customer service to children in our care. Your role involves food preparation, serving, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. A high school diploma or GED is required. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service while serving meals to children and ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support catering and banquet events, ensuring timely service.
- Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Maintain a positive and friendly environment, engaging with children and staff throughout service.
- Maintain at least minimum annual training hours according to the Healthy Hunger-free Kids Act of 2010.
- Other duties as assigned.
