What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute PCA/Para position at Substitute Teacher Service?
Substitute Teacher Service is seeking to build its Sub Pool for Special Education Paraeducators and PCAs to work in Northeastern School District.
Day-to-day job duties of a substitute PCA/Para are determined by the classroom teacher or his/her designee, as they may vary depending upon the changing needs of the classroom(s), student(s), and/or school district. Duties include supporting special education students - redirecting, keeping on task, may come into contact with bodily fluids, behavioral/emotional support.
Qualifications and Required Documents
- Proof of a high school diploma or higher education
- A Pennsylvania Criminal Records check (Act 34) that is clean and less than 1 years old **
- A Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance History (Act 151) that is clean and less than 1 years old **
- NEW! Effective 1/1/2015, you can now obtain this clearance online!
- A FBI Criminal History Record that is clean and less than 1 years old **
- Additional Onboarding Documents to be discussed during the hiring process.
~Pay Rate : $15.00 per hour
