Title : Talent Acquisition Specialist $19.50 - $20.25 / hour
Summary of Duties :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process under the direction of the Director of Recruitment. In this role, you will
manage all recruitment through the HRIS. Including the employee referral process, create effective job postings, screen candidates, coordinate and conduct interviews of DSPs, conduct background checks, and maintain recruitment metrics and reports.
Reporting Relationship :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist receives supervision and direction from the Director of Recruitment.
Essential Duties :
1. Process and track current job postings
2. Assists with prescreening / phone screening of applicants and scheduling of initial interviews
3. Review resumes assessing for appropriate fit and interest to share with hiring managers.
4. Coordinates and conducts interviews for the DSPs.
5. Works closely with hiring managers
6. Responsible for processing required background checks including DMV, SEL, MHL, SCR & Medicaid / Medicare
7. Complete all reference checks, along with educational and employment verification for candidates.
8. Meets with new hires to set required appointments and completes pre-employment paperwork. Create new hire personnel folders ensuring all required paperwork is included and completed in accordance with legal requirements and agency policies and procedures.
9. Prepare new hire paperwork packets and assist with orientation process.
10. Represents sasi at job fairs and other recruitment opportunities.
11. Identify trends for process improvement.
12. Process and manage incoming calls related to recruitment.
13. Maintain current knowledge of EEO and AAP Guidelines and laws.
14. Maintains confidentiality of all communication / correspondence.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience :
High School diploma PLUS a minimum of two (2) years full-time paid secretarial experience in Human Resource / Business office. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and office equipment.

- Provide effective, two-way communication with people, both in person or over the phone.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions on forms, etc.
- Ability to relay information clearly to employees and / or outside personnel.
