Position Overview
The Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center is looking for a maintenance person. Applicants need to be positive, energetic and willing to do whatever it takes to make our guests happy. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensures that all maintenance tools are in good working condition and stored neatly and securely in the maintenance room
- Picks up loose trash and debris, empties trash containers daily, or as needed
- Maintains cleanliness of storage areas, furniture storeroom, maintenance room, boiler room and flammable storage containers
- Tracks and records work for completion/repairs
- Makes repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
- Offers guest assistance as needed
