Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team in Briarcliff Manor, NY. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engines, hydraulics, A/C, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension on heavy equipment and trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, hydraulics, A/C, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
- Work on a wide range of heavy equipment and trucks, including Mack & Peterbilt trucks and McNeilus, EZ Pack, Heil, Kann, Leach, American Hoist, Cummins & Mack engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and ensure efficient operation of the shop.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines, hydraulics, A/C, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension on heavy equipment, heavy trucks, or heavy equipment.
- ASE A5 Brakes Certification and ASE Certification required.
- Diesel engine repair experience and mechanical knowledge required.
