As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key point of contact between our customers and technicians, ensuring a seamless experience for every vehicle that comes through our service department. Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, understanding their vehicle service needs and initiating the appropriate service and repair requests.
• Problem-Solving: Diagnose and ascertain vehicle performance problems, recommending necessary repairs and services based on customer concerns and technician input.
• Estimate Development: Prepare and present accurate repair estimates by calculating the cost of materials, supplies, and labor, ensuring customers are informed about expected costs, including any deductibles.
• Repair Order Management: Write detailed repair orders (RO), obtain customer approval for services, and ensure proper entry into our service database system.
• Liaison Role: Act as the communication bridge between customers and technicians, ensuring both parties are clear about service/repair needs and expectations.
• Warranty Administration: Manage manufacturer warranties for qualifying vehicle repairs, keeping customers informed of their coverage.
• Customer Service: Keep customers updated on service specials, repair status, estimated completion times, and total service expenses. Deliver a customer-first experience that builds trust and loyalty.
• Additional Responsibilities: Identify and communicate additional service needs as identified by the technician during vehicle inspection.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Background as an automotive technician is a plus.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is beneficial.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in your state of residence.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
