Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Pathologists Assistant role located in Bethesda, MD at Suburban Hospital. The Pathologists Assistant will be responsible for assisting pathologists in the examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens, preparing tissues for examination, and maintaining accurate records of specimens and results.
Qualifications
- Experience in surgical pathology procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
- Master's degree in a science-related field
- Certification as a Pathologists Assistant (PA) is required
- Experience with laboratory information systems is a plus
