What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - In-House Contract Med/Surg Float position at Suburban Hospital?
Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers both complex and routine care for a range of specialties.
The Registered Nurse / RN will work within our float pool and rotate to our Med/Surg units based on staffing needs.

Position details:
- Med/Surg Float Pool
- Temp, 36 hours/week
- 12-hour shift 7p-7:30a
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- Maryland RN License (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state)
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR
- Associates Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1yr experience
Salary Range: Minimum 65.00 per hour - Maximum 65.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
