Suburban Lawn and Garden offers a full service experience for our customers. From purchasing plant material in one of our 3 retail stores to our Full Service Maintenance departments. Suburban offers our customers, lawn maintenance, sprinkler and landscaping services.

Suburban is currently looking for an experienced Certified Applicator who is responsible for the care of trees and plants in our customer's yard. This position requires knowledge of trees, shrubs and turf, including diagnosing the diseases and insects that affect these plants. This position will be responsible for applying fertilizer, weed and pest control applications for trees, shrubs and turf. Individuals must be comfortable interacting and communicating with customers and be able to explain the different options for the treatment of landscapes.
Candidates must be able to:
- Preform applications of fertilizer/weed control to commercial and residential properties with a spreader/sprayer.
- Perform tree sprays and bed maintenance.
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Work in the outdoors, occasionally exposed to extreme heat and cold
- Perform physical labor daily, ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently as well as assist other operations when needed.
We are seeking:
- Extensive horticulture experience.
- Missouri or Kansas State Applicators License.
- Valid Kansas or Missouri (Class E) Drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a DOT medical certification.
