We are seeking an Assembly Technician Temp to join our growing and dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling various components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings. Attention to detail is vital as you will need to verify the functionality of assembled units and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the assembly process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and have a passion for quality craftsmanship. This temporary position is anticipated to last approximately 90 days, with the potential for permanent employment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Reads and follows blueprints, routers, specifications and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion
- Interpret work instructions or other verbal or written instructions.
- Work with team and individually to assemble products.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring that tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
- Assemble components accurately and quickly.
- Perform quality checks and verification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly or functional issues that arise during production.
- Meet safety requirements for the company.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, and power tools to make parts and products.
- Bring forward continuous improvement ideas.

Working Conditions:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Exposure to sights, sounds, and smells associated with a machine shop production environment.
- Must have good eyesight along with the ability to differentiate colors

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus; however, we are willing to train
- Strong mechanical aptitude
