Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to menu specifications and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area for customers.
- Operate cash registers accurately, handling transactions with efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards in food preparation.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and equipment usage.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and retail math calculations.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
